From the movement to the case to the bracelet, the Omega technology used allows the company to produce the exquisite watches that the public sees. Over time, it becomes essential that watch companies remain innovative and offer new things. If the company fails to do so, the company will soon fail. Fortunately for Omega watches, they have been able to modernize every collection and model they release.
The case is one of the key points to creating the overall watch in terms of design and technology. Special attention is paid to this part of the watch because of its importance to the overall watch. As soon as the 3D prototype is created by the designers on the computer, the engineers jump in on the process. The main reason the engineers enter during this phase is because the dimensions of the case are determined by the size of the movement.
Although not quite as important, the dial and hands get looked at closely as well when deciding what type of Omega technology to use. From the very beginning of development, prototypes for the dial and hands are produced to give a better impression of the overall look. Just recently, Omega introduced the new co-axial movement that was developed by George Daniels. After several years of hard work and development, the new movement went through rigorous testing. Finally, in 1999 the first limited series was launched. In 2001 the new De Ville co-axial collection was launched with the Omega technology that has changed the way watches will be made in the future.
In order to produce and distribute the high-class and intricate watches that Omega creates, the Omega technology used is crucial. The various technologies allow Omega to create innovative watches and produce fresh and enticing watches to the public. After much testing and drawing, the Omega technology is put to work and the final piece is distributed worldwide.
